Horsham West/Haven PS has been playing host to an unusual blue visitor from another galaxy. He seems to have adopted the school as his new home. He requested that the students find him a suitable earthly name. The winning name was I-Quad by Emily in grade 4. She said “It’s cool like an i-pod! I think it would be fun to have lots of adventures with the blue four eyed creature.” Click home to follow his journey.
I-Quad is looking forward to interacting with the students through his blog to encourage meaningful use of ICT in the classroom and extending learning into the wider community. We have even had a comment posted from Alaska! The project has been coordinated by Judy Harrington ICT Teacher and Kristy Bellas School Network Administrator who are encouraging Web 2.0 technologies in the classroom to engage students in their learning.
